Family/Marriage Counseling

In God’s master design, the families are the building blocks of the church. Before he established the church, he established marriage and commanded that, within the context of marriage, we be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28). That is, to build families. Having established the family, he then called them to come together to establish the church (Hebrews 10:25; Acts 2:46). Consequently, the strength of the church is directly proportionate with the strength of the family. To gauge ones potential leadership abilities in church ministry, we need only examine the quality of his/her leadership at home. In 1 Timothy 3:5, Paul asked the question, “If a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?”
